AEF GmbH — General Terms and Conditions

§ 1 Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all transactions conducted through the website alteregofestival.at, operated by AEF GmbH. By using this website and placing orders, you agree to be bound by these terms. Separate conditions may apply for specific events and venue house rules.

§ 2 Contract Formation

A contract is formed when you complete a purchase through our website and receive an order confirmation. Product presentations on the website do not constitute a binding offer — they are an invitation to place an order. The contract language is German.

§ 3 Prices and Payment

All prices shown on the website are final prices in Euros (EUR) and include statutory VAT where applicable. Payment is processed through Stripe. Accepted payment methods are displayed during checkout.

§ 4 Delivery

Merchandise orders are shipped to the delivery address provided during checkout. Delivery times are indicated on the respective product pages. Shipping costs are displayed before order completion.

§ 5 Event Tickets

Event tickets are issued electronically via email and your account. Tickets must be presented (digitally or printed) at the event entrance. The right of withdrawal does not apply to event tickets pursuant to § 18(1)(10) FAGG (Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act), as these are services related to leisure activities provided at a specific date.

§ 6 Right of Withdrawal

For merchandise purchases, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period begins on the day you or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier) receives the goods.

Upon valid withdrawal, we will refund all payments received, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days using the same payment method as the original transaction.

§ 7 Returns

Merchandise must be returned within 14 days of the withdrawal notice. The customer bears the direct cost of returning the goods. Items must be returned in their original condition. Loss of value only applies if the damage results from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

§ 8 Liability

AEF GmbH is liable in accordance with statutory provisions for damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law, except in cases of personal injury. Claims for damages become time-barred after one year from the date on which the injured party becomes aware of the damage and the party liable.

§ 9 Data Protection

Personal data collected during the ordering process is processed exclusively for order fulfillment and customer support. For full details, refer to our Privacy Policy.

§ 10 Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

Austrian law applies. The jurisdiction for disputes is the competent court at the registered office of AEF GmbH (4600 Wels), unless mandatory consumer protection provisions specify otherwise. For consumers within the EU, the European Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
