The Alter Ego Festival in Wels is a fully cashless event. This means that all payments on the festival grounds are made exclusively via your festival wristband.

How it works

At the entrance, you will receive your festival wristband equipped with an RFID chip. This chip acts as your digital wallet for the entire weekend.

You can easily top up your wristband:

•⁠ ⁠before the festival (recommended)

•⁠ ⁠or directly on site during the event

Once loaded, you can pay quickly, safely and contactless at all bars, food stands and festival areas – simply by scanning your wristband.

After the festival, any remaining balance can be refunded online.
