At the Alter Ego Festival in Wels, the following youth protection rules apply:

The festival is generally open to visitors aged 16 and over.

•⁠ ⁠Aged 16 and over :

Entry to the festival is permitted without an accompanying adult.

•⁠ ⁠Under 16:

Entry is only permitted if accompanied by a parent or a responsible adult (18+)

or with a signed parental authorization form (“Muttizettel”).

A responsible adult (18+) is a person who has been officially authorized by a parent or legal guardian to supervise the minor during the event. We recommend always carrying a valid ID as age checks may be conducted at the entrance and on the festival grounds.
