Getting to the Alter Ego Festival in Wels is simple and well connected.

The festival site at the Trabrennbahn is located close to the city center:

•⁠ ⁠From the main train station, a regular shuttle service will take you directly to the festival area in around 5 minutes

•⁠ ⁠By foot, the location is reachable in approximately 15 minutes

Traveling by Plane

If you’re arriving internationally:

•⁠ ⁠The best option is to fly into Vienna and take a direct train to Wels (approx. 1.5 hours)

•⁠ ⁠Alternatively, you can fly into Linz, which is only about 15 minutes by car from the festival site

Parking

There is a dedicated parking area for all festival visitors. From there, the festival grounds are easily accessible on foot.
